We help project managers create thriving, high-performing teams

Through practical, research-backed strategies, we equip you with the tools, knowledge, and support needed to build highly engaged, productive, and resilient teams.

Our Approach

We understand the unique challenges faced by IT project managers. They're not just managing projects; they're leading people and creating the conditions for success.

Our approach is rooted in the understanding that team performance is directly linked to the wellbeing and engagement of your employees, and that project managers are the key drivers of this on a daily basis.

While executives set the overall strategic direction, it is the project manager who influences the day-to-day team experience that will either foster engagement and productivity, or lead to disengagement and underperformance.

It's essential that your project managers are equipped with the right skills, tools, and awareness to create a positive and productive work environment.

You need to know that they are not only delivering projects on time and to budget, but that they are also creating a positive workplace where your teams can thrive.

Team collaboration and wellbeing

"When team members feel supported, valued, and understood they are more engaged, more motivated, and more able to achieve outstanding results."

Why I Started We Help Teams

Companies are spending big on trying to fix their 'culture' to increase retention and engagement. A fancy coffee machine is nice, but one of the biggest levers at their disposal is often overlooked. Project Managers.

These are the people who shape the day-to-day experiences of their project teams. They're the ones who set the tone, manage the workload, and build the connections. Many of them develop a sense of what is needed to get their team to deliver, but very few have a plan to increase engagement and aren't trained in how to put those strategies in place.

It's not difficult. It's not expensive. It's an awareness and education issue.

I know this firsthand.

I left a job I had worked at for two years because I wasn't happy. I couldn't define why, just something wasn't right. This company knew they had a retention problem, and they were working incredibly hard to change the culture, and to make it a great place to work. They genuinely put a lot of effort into it, more than any other company I've worked for.

I let them know what I was going through. For three months they supported me as much as they could with direct exec 1-on-1s and putting me into some online mindfulness and goal-setting courses... but none of it had an impact. It has taken me nearly 12 months to really get to the bottom of what was going on and how that could have been addressed.

That journey has led to the start of We Help Teams, and I'm committed to improving engagement and retention in project teams through evidence-based Project Manager awareness and strategies that will improve project and employee results across the board.

If you are a project manager, or a leader who is struggling with team engagement, then I would love to connect and share some solutions with you.
